SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2020

SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam Pattern

This exam will be the very first one attended by the applicants. It will be an objective type paper. The exam will be conducted online (Computer Based). Each question will contain four or more options with one right option.

SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Pattern

The successfully qualified candidates from Tier – I exam will be invited for the second stage exam. Unlike first, SSC CHSL Tier-II will be a descriptive exam. The exam will be bilingual in Hindi and English languages. The motive is to check written skills. This is a paper and pen exam. Appearing candidates are asked to write Essay, Letter/Application writing. Length of essay should be normally between 200-250 words. While the application/letter should be at least 150-200 words.   • The candidate need to get at least 33% marks in descriptive test.
  • Total marks allotted are 100.
  • Duration of exam is one hour.
  • All questions will be of 10th level concepts.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Pattern

This test will be done through some Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Tests.

We have earlier told that this section will be descriptive in nature. It will have mainly two parts. First is essay writing and second is letter/ application. Please cover the general topics for writing the essay. Most probably the essay may come from topics such as Population, National issues, Finance, Economy, Ecological Issues, Politics, Schemes & Governance, Sports, Technology, Geopolitics, Social Issues, Environment related topic etc.
